Our Data Tale reminded me that a Christmas Carol is about taking stock, reflecting on what you have been doing, and ultimately thinking about where that will take you. In the original (non-Geordie) version, the impact is more profound. The crux is that Bob Cratchit gets to spend more precious time with his family. To think we are over 100 years from that, yet we can still struggle to make that separation and enjoy what we have, is thought-provoking. We can all recognise that Scrooge needed help taking stock. The apparition of his old friend initiated a process that used multiple external sources. In business, asking for help or sounding out your options is sensible. All too often, organisations jump to take on a new analytics project to deliver AI and automation and next-level dashboards, often missing the “What we need” step.
Our Geordie Data Tale was very much taken from our customer experiences, where companies need that simple conversation to get started. Why not make 2024 the time to take that step? We will be here for you to help with that initial conversation through to a full delivery.
We wish you and your loved ones all the best for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2024!
